Jordanian Border Crossings Operating Hours

Operating Hours for Jordanian Border Crossings during April-May 2022

As a result of the outbreak of the coronavirus, many changes have been made in operating processes at international borders. The services provided to travellers at borders crossings have been significantly restricted, Please note changes in procedures and operating hours associated with the Novel Coronavirus.

Allenby/King Hussein Crossing Sunday - Thursday Friday - Saturday
Passenger terminal

Mondays & Wednesdays

08:00 hours until 17:00.

Passengers are advised to arrive at the terminal by 14:00.



Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 

08:00 hours until 23:00.

Passengers are advised to arrive at the terminal by 21:00.


Crossing to Jordan

- Israeli ID, East Jerusalem ID and Palestinian ID holders are required to apply through the Jordanian online platform https://www.gateway2jordan.gov.jo/landplatform/
    - Foreign nationals, diplomatic passports and UNLP holders can enter Jordan without the online platform approval.
    - Gaza ID holders staying in Jordan must obtain a no-objection letter if staying in Jordan
   - The platform approval is valid for 7 days
   - Children under 5 years old are not required to apply on the platform.


Crossing to West Bank and Israel

Foreign nationals of all ages will be permitted to enter the country, regardless of their vaccination/recovery status, subject to the following entry procedures:

  • Fill out the online MoH form during the 10 days before arrival through land crossings (as early as possible)  (https://corona.health.gov.il/flights/). Without filling out the form, it is not possible to be allowed to cross.
  • Performing a NEGATIVE PCR test up to 72 hours before boarding. 
  • All passengers, regardless of their vaccination/recovery status, must enter isolation for 24 hours or until they receive their negative PCR test from Allenby Bridge, whichever is first.
  • ***Please note that holders of valid MFA cards are exempted from the in-advance PCR test, but still subject to the on-arrival PCR test and must fill out the online MoH form as per the above instruction.

Israeli ID holders (including A5 IDs)

  • Fill out the online MoH form up to 48 hours before boarding their flight (https://corona.health.gov.il/flights/). 
  • Israeli ID holders will only be required to undergo a PCR test upon entering the country. The in-advance PCR test is no longer required.
  • All passengers, regardless of their vaccination/recovery status, must enter isolation for 24 hours or until they receive their negative PCR test from Allenby Bridge, whichever is first.

08:00 hours until 15:00.

Passengers should arrive at the terminal no later than 13:00.

If using UN/Diplomatic vehicle: Personnel traveling towards the West Bank must arrive at the Israeli terminal no later than 13:30 hours, and no later than 14:00 hours when traveling to Jordan.
